Only the Beginning

I am the Chairman of Dynasty Capital Services LLC which I founded in 1988. We provide strategic and financial advice to a fairly diverse clientele, ranging from the fledgling entrepreneurs in the early stages of startup ventures to chief executive officers and board members of multinational companies. Amongst the services that we provide are corporate development and new venture assessment. Over the years, we have had a number of successes and of course, our fair share of losses. Nevertheless, as they say, the journey is what makes it fun to get to the destination, wherever the venture may take you.

In the upcoming months, I will share with you the latest adventures that I have encountered personally. We seek to survive with limited scars during this unprecedented economic storm, which unfortunately, does not appear to have an end in sight. Clients are scared these days as need for their products and services are shrinking as consumers and customers shy away from purchasing. The inevitable domino effect takes place. I am currently searching for the next innovation boom that will enable a turnaround, but I'm not sure we're going to find it here domestically with China and India growing at rates that we can only envy. At the same time, there is good reason for hope in the areas of solar, biotech, social networking and mobile entertainment, industries in their relatively nascent stage of development. So, as the song goes, "Let the good times roll."
